Tatiana was not Tatiana but Olga. She asked to change the hours the night before, which meant I had to change my plans. She cleaned very thoroughly and the kitchen and bathrooms were gleaming. However she was very slow and so half the work was not done in the 3 hours she was here. While my unit has not been properly cleaned since the start of the lockdown, most cleaners find the 3 hours more than enough time. Olga has little English so didn’t fully understand what to do.

We were completely disappointed with the service from both Tailane and the Helpling Platform. Tailane turned up 50 minutes late with no messages or call to indicate that she was running late. I assumed after half an hour that she simply wasn't coming. She had none of her own equipment which was fine but I would have expected a professional cleaner to have some of their own equipment. We had booked the cleaning for 2.5 hours. I asked her to do wipe down the kitchen counters, hoover and mop the floors and clean 1 bathroom and if there was time to change the sheets on our bed. The quality was absolutely terrible. The floors did not look like they were hoovered , the bathroom was not cleaned properly. Generally a complete waste of time, effort and money. Regarding Helpling; we were also disappointed with their platform and processes. We carefully picked 6 cleaners that were well reviewed that we wanted to send the job to. We received an email from Helpling to say that the clean was booked. Somewhere in the email (that I did not initially spot) there was a note to say that none of the cleaners we picked were available but they had found a great cleaner for us instead. Clearly this wasn't the case and they just assigned to somebody on the platform with no consideration for reviews, ratings or general quality of service. My understanding is that Helpling was supposed to be a smart platform that give you control but clearly its just a lottery. We son't be using Tailane or the Helpling platform again and would strongly advise anyone else to look elsewhere. I love the ability of modern tech platforms to connect people and allow technology to help make everyones lives easier. Its really disappointing when its so badly executed.

Olga was certainly punctual and friendly - she was there on time for our first clean, and first impression was she came across as so very polite & courteous! More importantly, we were happy with the quality of the work, attention to detail was evident, as the house looked really clean after she left. We would certainly continue with Olga for our regular cleaning. Oh, also, Olga came across as a good listener and very cooperative as she carried out our cleaning instructions to our satisfaction and without any qualms or resistance!

We did not have Martin and Victoria. Nadia and Angie from Freshwater Cleaning Service came to do the clean and they were amazing! Fast, professional and friendly. Would definitely hire then again!
